- I am the OP, which hath made this channel for you
- I have 200 access, you don't. Therefore whatever I do or say, is or does. If you don't like it, please inform the appropriate persons as we are a democratic channel. In due course, after being deliberated upon, something may or may not be done about it. To recap, I am me, you aren't.
- Thou shalt have no other ops before me
- The op structure on Austnet is simple. 200 is the channel owner, 150+ are the trusted users, 100+ are the general purpose expendable ops, 50+ are a joke, and any less are lusers.
- Thou shalt not make you any lusers to be ops before you
- To be good, a channel needs good ops. This means that you shouldn't make stupid people ops. If someone is an op and they are misbehaving, please have an all out brawl about it. Chat is good. The more chat the better. Arguing is chat. The logic is obvious.
- Thou shalt not know my real name
- And if you do, thou shalt not tell anyone. I dunno why. But that's how it is.
- Remember the channel, to keep it going
- There's no reason you can't be on 20 channels at once, but if you want to be an op in #mushroom, please remember it, try to chat to people that join, ban virus bots, laugh at idiots, and all that kinda stuff... Chat is supposed to be "chat", not "idle". I don't care if you idle, just don't spend all your time chatting somewhere else and idling here. And have a nice day..

- And don't forget to brush your teeth, floss your hair, and turn the fridge off to conserve our valuable non-renewable resources and keep the dolphins and whales and sea slugs alive and well..
- Thou shalt not look at me
- Ok, you can look, but only if you look the right way. And not for too long. And don't forget to blink. Doctors say that blinking at least 8 time a second is... umm.. abnormal.
- Thou shalt not steal
- Tax evasion is not stealing. Its tax evasion. Plagiarism is not stealing, its plagiarism. Warez is not stealing, its warez. Saying my jokes is stealing. And its abominable.
- Thou shalt not bear false witness against another op
- And whatever I say is the truth. No doubts. No questions. No arguments. If you do have a problem, the easiest solution is to tell me. However, it can often be more satisifying to abuse the person involved. And all the innocent bystanders. And anyone else you can think.
